Senseï Luciano was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on June 4, 1967. He started Kyokushin Karate in May 1982, under the direction of Shihan Andre Gilbert.
Senseï Luciano received his shodan on May 25, 1986, and his nidan under Shihan Camille Ohan under the direction of Shihan Andre Coulombe on November 1994, and finally his sandan under Shihan Camille Ohan under the direction of Shihan Kanamura and Shihan Shichinohe in May 2001.
“Practice what you preach,” is something that Senseï Luciano lives by. In order to be an effective leader, you must lead by example. Senseï Luciano still trains at the honbu every week with his life time master Shihan Camille Ohan, 5th dan black belt. “Always be a white belt at heart, place your ego aside, open your mind, and grow as a true karateka.”

Senseï Luciano has participated in numerous FKCO planned activities including Summer Camps, Climbing Mt-Tremblant several times a year, tameshiwari, full-contact tournaments, judging and refereeing at tournaments, demonstrations, and dan grading exams.
Luciano is Red Cross Certified for First-Aid and CPR, and has passed the 3M, Level 3 National Coaching Certification Program.
Luciano's proudest moment has been to introduce his family to the art of karate.
