Tansei is a Japanese word that means effort, working hard with sincere, diligent effort. Achieving something without effort loses the value of that achievement, while working with sincere effort, you learn something valuable about yourself.

Senseï Luciano and his team treat every student as their personal project. Karate Tansei's guiding principle is that values such as partnership, courtesy, determination and respect, fostered in children at an early age, will produce a physically and spiritually healthy next generation of adults.

Karate Tansei is affiliated with a growing family of karate schools under one organization called FKCO (www.fkco.net) under the direction of Master Camille Ohan, 5th degree black belt, where standards are followed in order to promote karate values in a positive, safe and fun way.
